Our Big Boy

Hey all. So lastnight we went to Brad's debut back on the ice. YEAH DADDY !!!! He did really well. He made some fantastic passes and got an assist. He made some great shots on net, unfortunately the damn goalie that was in the net was paying attention!!!! ahhaha but all in all I would say he had a great game. We won 7-0 I think against Trois Riviere. Jakers is did wonderfully!!!! He sat on my lap the first period and watched intently, at the intermission we went for a walk downstairs and everyone loved him. He of course was enjoying all the attention. Feelin like a big boy runnin around. THen the second period he sat really well and we stayed in our seat for the intermission and the third he did good too, started to fade by then though. Was being alittle floppsie. Laying upside down and laughing at everyone behind us. Silly billy that he is. Then he slept in the car and proceeded to stay alseep all through his pj changin, occasionally letting out a giggle when mommy took his socks off. God he's so cute. He slept through the night pretty good, woke up at like 0600 so I brought him to bed with us and woke up at 0815. So it went pretty good. Enough about lastnight.

THURSDAY !!!!!! Was wonderful. I found a flyer at playgroup for the university english movie theater. They had the Departed playing that night so I asked Ang if she and Fred wanted to watch Jake while Brad and I went. They said sure and off Jakers had his first sleepover with his Girl Audrey (sorry Ella, Riley and his many other girls) I was a little worried about his reaction to us leaving him (he's been a little clingy to mommy of late) But we dropped him off he went straight to her toys and didn't look back, literally didn't even give a hurumph when we left. So instead of making a production of it I said "woohoo" and ran to the car !!!hahaha. We watched the movie and Jake just woke up for his 2200 buba when we got back. Perfect timing. Ang said they all had a blast !!!! That Jacob was a darling to get to bed and she was amazed at how easy he was. Unfortunately his main squeeze Audrey has been alittle difficult in that department lately. He also was a little comedian too. They were getting Audrey's bath ready and Jacob kept wanting to get in. Lifting his leg to try and get in the tub. So off went the pjs and in he went with Audrey!!!!!! He of course rebelled and wouldn't sit on his bum, for the most part. Then he squatted and peed right there!!!! hahahah THats MY BOY !!!!! hahaha. So I give Fred and Ang a big THANK YOU !!!!! and we will get you guys next. ANywho i'm glad it all went well, cause tonight brad, ang, fred and I are all going to Sorel for a surprise birthday party for a guy on the team. Louise(Fred's mom) will be lookin after the kids. So I'm feelin better about how he will do. Its gonna be nice for us all to get out together sans kids !!! So I of course stole the pics from Angs blog, thanks again Belanger Family !!!!!

In the pics Jacob is wearing a reversable fleece jacket from Auntie Mia's Mommy. Very adorable and warm. He wore it out for our walk in the stroller. Then Jacob is eating his lunch with his new fork he got from Papa George and Cynthia for his birthday. Its one of a set for big boys with teddy bear's on the handle. He loves tryin to figure it out, most of the time he mouths the teddy but he's doing great. I also forgot to tell you guys about the grocery store incident... hmm no its not that exciting but I was in the produce section buying avocado's I turned my head and put them in the cart and started walking away and mister sticky fingers was nawing on a nectarine. Yes Nectarine !!!! He pilfered his first piece of fruit !!!! We'll I was so excited he actually liked the nectarine I bought more, and he continued on his nawing. Thats about it !!! Kay I'm tired from all this typing enjoy the pics and I'll get back to you all about tonights adventures !!!!! I know your dying to know how it all goes. hahahah
