Haircut Tuesday and VACCINE Wednesday !!!! Oh what fun !!!

So Tuesday as you saw was Jacob's First Haircut !!!! He wiggled, he squiggled but don't mess with a woman with scissors !!! hahhaa. He held pretty good, but man that kid is strong. freakishly strong !! Then Janessa, Jacob and I went for lunch on the hubby's !!hahaha aahhh it was very nice. We don't eat out that much so its a nice change. We came back to the apartment and I cooked Steaks for the mans and chicken for the womans and double stuffed potatoes with caesar salad. Very yummy. Nessa and I decided the boys always go out this time it would be the girls turn. hahahahaa Definately no where near the last time I went out. I decided that far in advance, no preparty martinis and rum and cokes. Just a little wine. ahhaa. Hey who are we kidding I can't go out without a little buzz goin on. So we went down to this little pub down the hill and man was it dead. Mind you we were out at 1100pm. Apparently these young university kids don't need to sleep or need to get up in the morn to play with a 1yr old. hahaha So they don't start going out until after midnight. So we had a couple drinks, played pool, talked and then went home.
This morning was the dreaded day of VACCINE !!!! It was so sad, he has never been so upset before for vaccines. ***uck** it sucked. He was crying so hard he wasn't even making any noise. Very sad. I held it together. He of course calmed down after a couple minutes. But i'd be pissed too if I got 2shots in each shoulder. That pretty much is our day, we tried going out as a family for a walk in the stroller since it was a warm -14 BUT apparentyl it was a warm -14 but felt like a strikingly cold -27. brrrr. so we retreated after about 15mins. Ang and Fred are off to the big Justin Timberlake concert so we got KING CHARLES for the night.(yes I do say it that way too) He's so cute, Jakes loves to maul him. He's a good dog and doesn't seem to mind it. Oh and I almost forgot at the end of our video conversation with Grandma Jude Jacob decided to blow kisses for the first time !!!!! It was hilarious, he made grandma jude cry !!! She was so cute. He just kept doing it. So sweet!!! Now I just gotta get it on video. K, so i'm off to hit the couch. Not sure why but i'm tired. Loves to you all !!!

Friday and Saturday Post all in One

These pics are of Our Saturday Night Party at the Belanger Household. It was fantastic, Fred's mom and mom's boyfriend brought a Raclette along with Sarah and Sly (daigles). Its this really cool grill thingy that has like a little broiler underneath. Very very fun and delicious. We had quite the spread. Thanks again Ang and Fred, and Louise too she was a typical Grandma in the kitchen doing all the work. Man I miss Grandma's and Grandpa's too!!!. The above pic is little Audrey on the push walker toy.

After the kids went to sleep the Adults partied it up with alittle Hockey Trivia. Yes as you could imagine 3 men that play semi pro hockey and another man that lives by it. Against us poor unsuspecting women. You'd have thought it was gonna be men winning with a landslide, but nope we finally ended the game with a tie. We just couldn't go on. It was taking forever. I have to say I didn't contribute anything to the women's team. Sarah and Ang and Louise were the breadwinners. But hey I enjoyed watching and agreeing with whatever answer they wanted. hahahaha.

Friday night we went to the Daigles house. We enjoyed ourselves alot. And I think we left there house with minimum damage. hahaha. kidding Jacob did very well as soon as he was asleep. ha He was into everything. Man that kid keeps me on my toes. It was very nice to get out and visit. Ang and Audrey were there too !!! As you can see Jacob got to ride his first bucking bronco. hahaha minus the bucking part. He really like Ella's little rocking cow.

So I figure the Mussellam's will like the video. Finally I get to pass on the family tradition of "Slave Labour". hahahah. Aaaah to be the boss of someone !!!hahaha. So besides having my son hand wash the kitchen floor. We finally got the t-shirt I ordered before christmas. Yes, I said BEFORE christmas. haahah. damn mail delivery service. Anyways its adoooorable. Daddy sure loves it. So for the price of that shirt I went out and got 2 shirts for myself that cost HALF that. Yes nothing is too good for my son....kidding. hahaha. not really. haha. no really kidding. Anyways we have a big Saturday night planned. We are going to the Belanger's for dinner. Along with us will be the Daigle's with Jacob's other girlfriend Ella, and Fred's mom and boyfriend. So full house. Should be very fun. Tomorrow there's not much going on, Daddy has a game. We might go. we might not. Oh wait I think its away so we for sure won't be going. Maybe I'll meander downstairs and bug Ang. When the kids are sleeping. Not sure. So have a good weekend all. So sadly I had this huge witty post to put on the blog, then of course I got screwed by the "server error" crap. NOw this is all your going to get.
We went skating on Saturday as I mentioned before. Jacob had a great time and so did Audrey, they loved having a skate off with there daddy's.

Sunday and Monday pretty much were uneventful.

Today we went to playgroup then 22min late to a photo session for our big boys 1st year photo shoot. He was fantastic besides the running and screaming away from the photographer. We managed to wrangle him down long enough to get some great shot of our little man. This is just one preview shot. Tracey needs won't be able to get the rest to me until the end of the week. WOW he's such a big boy, and I need to get his hair cut....hahaha. SO enjoy the pics.

So last we talked I said we were going to Montreal and the Biodome, and that was supposed to be Wednesday. Well there was a change in plans, lets just say god decided to make Wednesday the coldest day I've ever felt in my life. So we made the executive decision to remain indoors for the day. ... brrrrrrrrr. It was minus 27. -27, again -27. Everyone now BRRRRRR. Okay I think you all got my point. So yesterday we decided it was a more resonable temperature out (-16) So off we went to Montreal. It is really a pretty place Montreal. Beautiful old buildings. The Biodome was a lot of fun. We got there and ate right away. So the biodome is basically a huge building with 4 regions/seasons ?, anyways there's a tropical section, bat caves, monkeys, crocodiles, tortoise and turtles, parrots you know tropical stuff. Then there's a north american section , otters, beavers, fallish like stuff, marsh, lynx. Then there's underwater stuff, stergeon, salmon, lobster, diving ducks that swim all the way to the bottom, small shark, cod, halibut, mmm fish and chips.... anyways that kinda stuff, and then theres the Antarctic, penguins, ice, cold kinda stuff. It was quite a little adventure. Jacob walked on his own through pretty much all of it. By the end he was more interested in practicing going up and downstairs in one section. It was definately nap time. So we got in the truck and drove home missing rush hour and getting a great afternoon nap in for Jakers and mommy!!! THen to top off the day we went downstairs to the Belangers and had ribs !!!!!! Not just ribs though, FANTASTIC ribs, the kind that just melt in your mouth. THat still make my mouth water the next day. ......mmmmmm thanks guys that was a fantastic dinner. Jakers and Audrey played then we came upstairs and went to bed. All in all it was a very very nice day. Plus I didn't have to make ONE meal the whole day. aaaah. Now whats for dinner tonight. hmm. Have to think on that one. Okay enjoy the pics and vids everyone. Well we've been up to alot !!!!

So last we talked I was going out on the town with Ang. We'll lets just say I won't be drinkin again for a long long time. Unfortunately I'm still of the mentality that I am 20 again. Get a few drinks in me and I decide I need a few more, then a few more, then i'm dancing and having yet again a few more. You can only imagine how it ended. Not pretty I might add... though your guess is as good as mine cause I don't remember the last say 20mins of the bar. Yes I can hear you all now "OH SARAAAA" and please not so loudy my head still hurts. hahahaa. K enough of that. So SUnday night after hoisting myself off of the toilet all day I was surprisingly hungry. We invited the Belanger's up for fondue. It was very very good. Though I was slightly ravinous. You could have put anything in front of me and I would have gobbled it down without a care in the world. It was very nice having Ang, Fred, Audrey and "KING" Charrrrrles over. Jacob is starting to become more aware of "that other child" now. hahaha. Cause before he pretty much ignored her. Now he's going out of his way to sit on, hit on and occasionally touch poor Audrey. No really they are playing more together and that girl can sure crawl... ADORABLE !!! She loves watching Jakers its so cute. She gets so excited about stuff. Then the Monday its snowed all day so Ang, Audrey, Jakers and I with the dogs all went for a little sled. I was pretty cold so we didn't go for long. Plus dude, the snow was crazy deep.

This morning we had playgroup YEAH !!!! Jakers ran and played till his big hearts content. Then we came home he napped and mommy went to Pilates/cardio. Very nice. Really enjoy it. Then I got home and Daddy, Mommy, Jakers and the dogs decided to go out yet again and sled. This time though we didn't last long at allllll. The poor dogs feet were freezing. They were limping it was soooo cold, -16. So we came back in and I decided to document the case of frost bite on my sons face. thus the red faces , though Jacobs face is the worst of all of ours. Anyways, his face didn't fall off and he is recovering quite well from the trauma of being brought outside. Then tonight he decided to dump the dogs basket and get in it himself. Poor Maxx was very confused by the whole situation. hahaha. Silly poo poo. Okay thats if for the last couple days. Tomorrow we are going to Montreal for a thingy for Brad and then we are going to the Biodome. Its some kinda thing like the Vancouver Aquarium, except not as good. ahhaha. Why bother you ask. Well we still want to check it out. Plus Jakers would love it. Anywho. We'll blog about it tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be as cold as the predicted hi of -18 and low of -28 tomorrow. Brrrrrrrrrrrr.
