Well as you can guess we are heading out to a town near you !!!!! THis is a short post, so here it is. We are heading out tomorrow in the morning to Alberta !!! YEAH. So I hope everyone had a fantastic Mother's day!!! I certainly did. It went like this. I got to sleep in. Till 845am. Which is good cause i'm up usually at 7. YEAH number 1. I was awoken by my darling little boy who brought me a gift in bed. Opened it and to my surprise a magazine and a brand new pair of running shoes !! YEAH number 2. Then I got out of bed and played with Jacob while daddy went and got my gourmet breakfast. (mcyd's) YUMMO. Pancakes and a eggmcmuffin. YEAH number 3. I got to sit on the deck and read my new magazine while Jaker's went down for his nap and slept 3hrs along with daddy.YEAH number 4. The two's of them got up and had lunch then off to the mall to exchange said runners for my big duck foot size and also buy mommy some more shirts. YEAH number 5. Last but not least we went out for dinner at Boston Pizza. YEAH number 6. Then home and to bed.


So I had a wonderful day filled with smiles, presents, food and my most favorite people in the world. Can't beat that for Mother's day ! I hope all you mommies out there had just as fabulous day as me.


So onto the travel news. We are still waiting to hear from Yves about our travel money home and that kinda crap, so we can't really give anyone an ETA on our arrival to visits and stuff but we will let you know on the ASAP when we find out. Other than that i'm slowly packing with the assistants of Jacob. Who knew kids could actually be helpful, like pull all the pots and pans out of the cupboard for mommy to pack. So sweet!!! hahahaha. ANywho will update when we hear more. Luvs and hugs

So unfortunately lastnight we lost to St. Jean 4-3 it was a fantastic game and yes, Brad's team really did play there hearts out !!! I guess this chapter of our lives will be coming to a close within the week. We really have made some wonderful friends here in Ang,Fred, Aud, Sarah, Sly and Ella. We will miss them very very much. Maybe there would be a league in BC (hahahah) then we could all live there. hahaha. This is just a short blog today, gotta go and enjoy the sun and my son.
I was reading the comments this morning and there's one particular one that really touched my heart. As you all know, or should know its Mother's Day on Sunday and this comment is the best Mother's day present that I could ever get. I LOVE YOU BRADZO!!!!!

So I left you all on Thursday. I shall go over the weekend for you all. So Friday night Brad had a game and they lost :( by alot. Then Saturday night came along and it was PAAAARTY !!! hahaha, kidding. But Ang and I did go out. We went downstairs for dinner. Ang made some great salads, so yummy. Then we went out to the club. It was quite a fun time, for some reason we kept on getting shots by the (female) bartender all night for FREE. Me being the courteous person that I am couldn't turn down someones hard work like that. So it wasn't quite doubles doubles shot night, more like Shot shot drink shot shot shot drink shot shot drink ....okay it kept going. Then Ang found out later that one of the guys from Brad's team told the bartender that we are wives of the team at that she should treat us right. hmmmm. I like her style of treating us right !hahahah. Anyways we had a great time, was very tired on Sunday but made through the day. Sunday afternoon/evening Brad had another game. And unfortunately they lost again. So that means its 2-0 for St.Jean so far. They have a game on Wednesday so lets all hope and pray they win.

Yesterday and today have been GORGEOUS 23 and 27 degrees. Lastnight we got invited over to the Daigle's for BBQ all we had to do was bring our own beer !!! Such a lovely invitation i'd say and the spread was DELICIOUS. Hamburgers, mac salad, potatoes stuffed and lets just say the drinks Sarah made MMMMMMM. So hats off to Sarah, Sly and Ella for having us over. THANKS GUYS !!!!

Then today I decided since it was sooo nice out this am Jake and I would walk to playgroup. So into the backpack he went and down the hills we goooo. Played at playgroup and Jacob decided that he had enough and wanted to leave (banging on the metal door trying to get out) hahahah. FUnny boy. So loaded him up and UUUUUP the hills I staggered!! He was soo tired he fell asleep on the way. He didn't even wake when I took him out of the pack. Imagine that. Boy was I sweaty ! Anyways then nap, lunch and off to the park with Daddy. As you can tell by the photo's. Then home play on the deck, dinner and off for an evening stroll with Ang and Audrey. Then NIGHTY NIGHT Jakers !!! aaahhh i'm done. NOw mommy nighty night. Luvs to you alllll. Let you know how the game goes. CIAO

Hello All,

Today was another lovely day, we started the morning with breakfast then off to playgroup ! Then after a couple of hours of running,playing,crying and falling we came home all tuckered out. Mostly mommy from constantly reminding Jake that climbing on the chair then running on top of the table was a "Very Unsafe" thing to do. aaahhh toddlerdom !!! Then I went to Pilates class and came home just in time to have Jacob wake up and feed him lunch. Its actually odd that he will sleep so nice and sound for daddy and wait til mommy comes home and I swear he just smells me and he wakes up. Strange. Then off to the bank then to the park. Unfortunately Jakes little girlfriend Audrey was on a different schedule than us she just fell asleep while we were heading out. Thats okay we will hook up with them tomorrow and go to the park. Speaking of tomorrow its the first game of the Finals for the Saints. So everyone wish us luck against St. Jean. They definately are a physically tough team. Oh so back to the rest of the day. We played at the park for like an hour then daddy showed up in the truck. It was so adorable Jacob saw our truck and went full tilt running after it. Grunting and pointing. It was soooo cute. Then daddy got out and wow was he happy to see him. We played a bit more then off we went and got take out sushi. Jacob had his usual. Avocado rolls, he ate three pieces and gnawed on the seaweed. And that about sums up our day. I will write again on Sunday and let you all know how our weekend went. Oh and Saturday night is GIRLS NIGHT OUT PART DEUX!!!!! YEAAAH. Ang and I have decided to brave the warm spring saturday night and have a girly night of drinks and dancing. It definately won't be as drunken as PART UNE.....due to the mans have a very important game Sunday and mommy will have to get up in the am. But we will sure shake our moneymakers for a while at least. RIGHT ANG !!!! Yeeeha. So with that I will bid you all Farwell til Sunday night. Luvs and Hugs
