So we all had a fantastic time with Grandma Susie!!!! YEAH. It was very short but wonderful to have her. Jacob thoroughly enjoyed the visit. He was disappointed this morning when he woke up and Grandma Susie wasn't here to great him with a smile and a hug!!! I guess Daddy will have to do. Mom and I drove into Montreal this morning at 0600. EEEW. Yes EARLY. haha thats okay though we had a lovely time together. We went for a couple walks, one around the Lac du Nationale and the other just around the house. She loved the town we are in. Very pretty and I will note that she did say we had more snow than them in AB. We also drove her around and showed her the sights. All in all. Wonderful time. If anyone else would like to come out and visit. We would LOVE to have you. So daddy has a game tonight, and will be staying overnight to go to another game on Saturday. So it looks like just Jacob and I for a little while. We will unwind from our whirlwind visit. We also have swimming tomorrow so we will be busy bees. Hope everyone is doing great. Loves and Hugs

GRANDMA SUZIE ARRIVES !!!!

So by reading Angela's blog and having her walk me through it I finally got the youtube up properly. YEAH Thanks Ang, and Sarah for figuring it out.
So Grandma Suzie made it safe and sound. We've been enjoying ourselves. Its so nice to have her here. Jacob has warmed up to her nicely.
So Papa George and Grandpa Bear will be happy to know that Jacob now enjoys milkshakes !!! We went to Mcdonalds the other day to abuse the toys and I got a milkshake for MYSELf. and little Mr. Piggy pants toddled over and grabbed the straw and started sucking away. THe brat pretty much ate my whole small milkshake !!! hahah kidding, I was just shocked he could use a straw. So I promptly went out and bought him a cup with a straw and handles so he could hold it for himself. But alas I was wrong again, he still hands it to me to hold for him to suck from. hahaha. anyways enjoy the pics. There'll be lots more.

So sorry no blog everyone !!!

So I've been alittle negligent with the none blogging, I really havn't been in the mood. All this cold was getting to me all last week. I apologize to you all. We really havn't been up to much either. Pretty much shut in. Poor Jakey. I've been feeling pretty negative as well. The only thing that has been keeping me sane is going to the gym. Jake has been pretty cranky thus causing mommy and daddy to be cranky. Hopefully now that Grandma Suzie is coming TONIGHT !!! YEAH, we can all be in a more positive up beat mood. We are soooo excited to see someone we love !!!! It will be soo nice to have more adult conversation, even if it is only for a few days. The weather is supposed to warm up too, so I hope to go out for a few walks at least. YEAH GRANDMA SUZIE !!!!!! I will be keeping you posted on the fun we will have. Thanks to Grandma Jude for the cookies, the cute sweater and the adorable Potty Elmo. Jacob hugs Elmo its so cute. You put it on the potty and squeeze his hand he says that he's learning to use the potty and sings a little song. Hilarious. You spoil us Grandma. We plan on celebrating next week when Grandma Susie is here. YEAH. East Side Mario's here we come. I made Pork tenderloin and risotto with green salad and for dessert pound cake with strawberries and whip cream. mmmm good. CAKE!!!! haaha. Okay so I'll update tomorrow with the aftermath of tonights snow!!! Should be very interesting. hmm I wonder if playgroup is still gonna be on in the morning.

Hey I might as well take advantage of the "wanting to help mommy faze". SO things have gone down hill at the Wingfield household. I have come to the realization that no, in fact I STILL am not the boss of anyone !!! Apparently Jacob was just playing with my emotions when he was letting me go about the world thinking finally FINALLY i'm the boss of someone. hahaha how wrong I was. After many many cranky days of crankiness Jacob has let me know what is going on, A. He is mastering the tantrums and B. He's getting his FIRST MOLARS !!!!!!!!!!!!ARRRRGH, just a sec ........AAAAARRRGH. There is a reason I eat alot of chocolate, it CALMS me !!!! So now when I say i'm going to the store Brad knows i'm going to get chocolate. hahaha. Oeuf-fondant (easter creme egg) here I come !!!!
Though from the photos it doesn't appear that bad. But these are moments mere moments in a 24hr day, 24hrs.... So alas I tire and have an easter creme egg waiting for me to finish this post. So I bid you all ado !!

Well we went to playgroup today and had a fantastic time. We were the first ones there and I thought it might have gotten cancelled cause I was late. But the troops rolled in. Jacob played and played ran and played somemore ! Fun was had. Then he came home and crashed while I went to pilates. Came home and its still cold. I decided to hang at the house. BIG surprise and we coloured as you can see and read and played with the dogs. I made dinner and Jake played with daddy. That about sums of our exciting day. Hope everyone is doing well. We love you and miss you all so very much.

Audrey came to visit this morning, and has been enjoying the hockey lessons Jakers has been giving her. Fortunately he's been holding off on the cross checking lessons.

So we attempted to go to a Winter Festival today, HA. Off we went Brad, Jacob and I. Ang and Audrey in there car and we couldn't find it. hahaha. I thought I saw it down this one road and I didn't go with my first instinct, so driving back again on our way home I went down the road and there it was. Unfortunately it pretty much over. The sledding we planned on doing was a little to treacherous for our little Jacob and the sleigh ride with the horses ended right as we pulled in. SO we lasted about 15mins. aaaah sometimes I wonder about life.haha. Anyways Jacob and I decided to do our little walk around the parking lot. FUn Fun Fun. We'll he doesn't know any better. It's still pretty cold here so we weren't out there that long. I can't wait for it to get warmer here so we can actually enjoy the snow more. Or heck go for a walk with out snowsuits ! Isn't that a novel idea. So i'm off, gonna go watch a movie in bed. While the mans watch UFC 67. Daddy has a game tommorrow afternoon at 200pm. SO we can actually go to it.
